Mental Health Nursing, known as psychiatric nursing is a distinct category of nursing practice which deals with the mental health of the patients of all age groups suffering from mental disorders that include depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar disorder and drug addiction. PMH-APRN’s are responsible to maintain health care services to the mentally retarded patients by working with individual patients, families and flocks. They follow some nursing therapy interventions for the diagnosis & treatment of the disorders.
